About Ron

Ron is an IT professional, technical educator, and author who focuses on making complex technology understandable for beginners.

With almost twenty years of experience working in higher education, Ron has helped thousands of students and staff learn how to use technology effectively. His work has included technical support, assistive technology, accessibility services, and technology training.

Ron has extensive experience working with operating systems including Linux, Windows, and macOS. He is particularly passionate about teaching foundational skills that help learners build real confidence with technology.

Through his books, he aims to make technical subjects approachable and practical, helping readers move from uncertainty to understanding one step at a time.

Ron lives in Ontario, Canada, where he continues to explore new technologies and share what he learns through writing and teaching.
